CBR CELEBRATES WITH 16 NOMINATIONS IN THE 37th CMAA COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS
Australia’s home of country music Compass Bros Records, celebrates its remarkable sixteen nominations in the 37th CMAA Country Music Awards, announced this morning at the Sydney Opera House.
Leading the Compass Bros nominations is Peter Denahy with five nominations – Male Artist Of The Year, Bush Ballad Of The Year, Instrumental Of The Year, APRA Song Of The Year and Video Clip Of The Year.
Kirsty Lee Akers recording new album
This week we had Kirsty Lee Akers in the studio recording vocals for her upcoming album due out on January 10, no title as yet but you’ll read it here first – so keep checking back. Compass Brothers Records partners with Shock Entertainment
Compass Brothers Records today announced a new partnership with Shock Entertainment. The deal marks an exclusive arrangement commencing in November 2008, whereby Shock Entertainment will sell and distribute Compass Brothers Records music & DVD releases. In addition to this Shock Entertainment will represent Compass Brothers Records online catalogue internationally.
